CHILLAX Charity provides a welcoming and supportive space for young people aged 11–16 in the Abertillery community. Based at Abertillery Learning Community’s secondary campus, we run a free breakfast club (8.00–8.30am) and an after-school club (2.50–4.30pm), designed to promote wellbeing, learning, and friendships.

At breakfast, young people can enjoy toast, cereal, and juice in a calm environment, take part in relaxed activities, and chat with our qualified Youth Workers—always available to provide guidance and support.

Our after-school sessions offer a wide range of opportunities, including crafts, games, cookery, gardening, and IT access for homework. We also provide mentoring and wellbeing support, ensuring every young person feels heard and valued. Hot and cold snacks are available daily, with many choosing to take food home to share with their families.

CHILLAX is more than just a club—it’s a safe and inclusive community where young people can grow in confidence, develop new skills, and build lasting friendships.
