Covid 19 - Test Facilities

If you have symptoms of COVID-19, please book yourself in for a quick, safe test. Phone 119 or visit https://gov.wales/getting-tested-coronavirus-covid-19

People with hearing or speech difficulties can call 18001119.

Remember, you must self-isolate at home after a COVID-19 test.

Travelling to a COVID-19 test counts as essential travel.

Some of the test centres are mobile and move around boroughs, others are in temporary locations. Here’s the up to date schedule below:

Newport Temporary COVID-19 Test Facilities

· Tredegar House Car Park - NP10 8YW (Drive Through Only) 9am-4pm

· Rodney Parade Newport NP19 0UU – 9am– 6pm

· Pillgwenlly, Former Kwiksave Car Park 173 Commercial Road, NP20 2RD

· 8am - 8pm - 7 days a week

· Duffryn Arms Car Park, Duffryn Drive, Duffryn, NP10 8TE

· Opening Thursday 28 January - 8am-8pm - 7 days a week

Newport Mobile Test Facilities (26/1/2021 – 1/2/2021 9am – 4pm)

· Lliswerry - Sports Village, Swimming pool and Tennis Centre Car Park - NP19 4RA

· Rogerstone - Rivermead Community Centre, Fuscia Way, Rogerstone, NP10 9LZ

Caerphilly Temporary COVID-19 Test Facility

· Rhymney, Caerphilly - Former Aldi Carpark, Old Brewery Lane - NP22 5EZ.

· 8am - 8pm - 7 days a week

Caerphilly COVID-19 Mobile Test Facilities - (26/1/2021 – 1/2/2021 9am – 4pm)

· 26/1/2021 - 28/1/2021 - Blackwood - Former CCBC Site - Pontllanfraith house - NP12 2YW

· 29/1/2021 - 30/1/2021 Bargoed Library Car Park CF81 8QR –

Torfaen COVID-19 Mobile Test Facilities (27/1/2021 – 2/2/2021 9am – 4pm)

Blaenau Gwent Temporary COVID-19 Test Facility (9am – 4pm)

· Former Marine Colliery, Cwm, Ebbw Vale, NP23 7TL (Drive Through Only)

Important Information

• Booking required for these test facilities.

• The test is done in 5 minutes

• Please wear a face covering on the way to and from your test

• Please do not use public transport

• Do not visit any shops or other places on the way to or from your test

• If you have symptoms of Coronavirus, you and your whole household must self-isolate at home until you receive your test results.

• There are stringent measures in place to protect both you and our staff at the testing sites.
